Hi, my friends,

There’s our sweet boy, Nic, in the distance, in the arena, having a little breakfast this morning

The fall is such a beautiful, beautiful time of the year.

It’s an awesome time because it’s like putting a big bow on the past year – and – a time to starting to think about what do we really want in the coming year?

That’s a good question, but there’s a better question!

The better question is, “What do I really love?” Thats because the question, “What do I love?” evokes a sense of passion. and an excitement with the belief, “I can do it.”

Whereas when we ask ourselves the question, “What do I want?” that can come from a place of lack. In the back of our minds there’s a small voice that’s whispering, “I want it, but I’m probably not going to get it!”

That’s my message today. Short, sweet and life-changing. Ask yourself, “ What do I love?”

I’m glad I got to share this morning with you, the beauty of the clouds, the sunrise and the beautiful weather.

Have a great week.

I’d love to hear from you!

  2. Barb, your kindness, caring and positive insights are so appreciated. The joy to be with my horses and having a beautiful fall ride today reminds me of how lucky and blessed I am.

  4. Barb, I promised myself several years ago that I would make the time to join you in the cow immersion where ever you had that event (at the time I was in CA). This year I am in Springtown TX coming back from a surgery and showing in Tri County Stock Horse (the 2nd to last show is Nov. 15 & 16 and Waco in Dec). I regret I won’t make it this year but hopefully 2025 (regardless of show date conflicts). Best Regards

  6. As always thanks Barb, for your words of positivity and inspiration.
They help me with all areas of my life at present, not just riding, which at present is having to take a back seat.
Enjoy your beautiful Fall and friends.

  8. Hi Barb, Boy, that is/was a gorgeous morning sky you shared with us! Thank you. The days are certainly getting shorter and I really don’t like that, but obviously I just have to accept it- Ha. And I really like your focus on “what do I really love” as that question is really easy for me to answer. I love my horses, and I still want to become a better rider and trainer. Thank you for your consistency in bringing a message every Sunday. I look forward to them. 🙂
