“Finding Joy in What We Love”
We all have our core beliefs. And thank goodness I believe we don’t all need to share the same beliefs! With that being said, one of my beliefs is that even though I don’t understand why people are taken from us either in what seems to be “too soon,” or in a way that seems unfortunate … or in just the fact that they “have to go” … I believe their work here is over. But those of us who remain still have important work to do.
That is one of my core beliefs. It has served me well in my healing journey.
I also believe that our “work” is meant to be a joy. Will it be arduous? Maybe. Will it be difficult at times? Most probably. But for all of the ups and downs, if it brings us joy, I believe that is how we know we are meant to do this “work.” And that work we love will always uplift others as well as ourselves.
I also believe this work is healing for us as we embrace it. We who are here, still have work to do. What a wonderful combination … do things we love, help others and nourish our healing journey.
Today I wish you joy in embracing what you love … and healing.

just want to let you know how much I enjoy your letters with such compassion, knowledge & understanding. God has truly inspired you in encouraging others in a vry ‘SPECIAL’ way. thank you.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. I really enjoy what I do … and these articles are so special to me because this subject of healing from grief is so about the heart. Thanks again. Barbra
Hi Barbra,
Thank you for all the wonderful resources and knowledge you provide to us. I appreciate your calming voice and loving spirit. I have some training “philosophy” concepts that I’m having trouble thinking through on my own. Do you ever engage with students using phone call, or Facetime, lessons?
If so, I would love to set one up!
Thank you again,
Gayelynn
