I love Ted talks in the things that one can learn from them, but this one in particular was both eye-opening, as well as struck a very familiar cord with me. I have long understood that being happy isn’t dependent upon external circumstances, but I also must say that external circumstances can make being happy a lot more challenging during some seasons of life!

  26. Thank you so much for sharing this! It’s taken me a long time to recognize that multi-tasking and just getting everything done doesn’t leave time for relaxation and really isn’t rewarding. Yes there is a moment of instant gratification but it’s exhausting and doesn’t leave time to enjoy the moments in life.
