Podcast: Interview with Warwick Schiller

Last week I was honored to be interviewed by Warwick Schiller for his podcast, The Journey On.

Warwick and I had fun talking about a number of topics over our hour and a half time together:

  • Competitive experiences and skills
  • Changing directions in our horse lives
  • The role of thought, emotion, and physicality in riding
  • Fear and perspectives for how to walk through it
  • Navigating grief
  • And more…

If you’re not familiar with Warwick, I know you will enjoy meeting him on this podcast. He is a delight and very wise about both horses and people!

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

  4. Your email just came in as I was listening to this very podcast. Loving it! Also found out we have something more in common than a love of horses. I too used to be a speech language pathologist!
Thank you for all you are doing to help people with their horses!

  12. Hi Barb,
I loved this pod cast!! I have always been grateful to show and winning isn’t the most important thing to me. My question is, Am I sabotaging winning by giving up attention
    And focus on it?
    Thank You for your consideration,

  16. Laurel, You are not giving up winning by letting go of focus on winning. In fact, if you focus on winning, you will distract yourself from your job as your job is to focus on your horse and the moment. You’re absolutely on the right track. Barb
