One With Your Horse and Your Job
Hey, it’s Barb, and in the last few weeks I’ve been talking about the idea of flow.
I’m talking about a sense of being in the moment and being connected to your horse – like nothing else exists but you, your horse and your job.
In this video I’m going to expand that idea.
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
I think most people would think about flow as reaching some kind of standard of flawlessness.
But that’s not really what I’m talking about at all. Because flawless and perfection are really not something that’s attainable.
What I am talking about is when you ride you have the ability to be at your very highest level of talent, skill and knowledge up to that point. And you also are very aware of your horse.
You see the horse you have that day. You have an ability to be flexible and engage with your horse and not turn against yourself as you ride, or turn against your horse.
Then you start an interaction in the saddle. Your horse does something; you respond, and you build your horse’s confidence.
So that’s what I mean by flow.
Yes it is a wonderful ride and yes, it is a ride where you have flexibility, but it’s not flawless.
I have a seven step process that I’m going to share with you in a new In the Flow Bootcamp. It all starts this Wednesday, May 24th.
During this bootcamp, which is 13 days total, we’ll have a lot of fun. I think you’ll find it easy and engaging – very practical.
I can’t wait to share it with you. It’s been my life’s work and I’m very passionate about it. I know it can transform a lot of what you’re doing with your horse now.
Below this video is a link to sign up. It’s all completely free. There will be lots of goodies, lots of downloads, and I’ll see you there.

This is where you shine so bright, Barb, kindness combined with enthusiasm and support. What a gift you have to share with us who totally trust that foundation. Looking forward to being “with” you for this amazing time.
Hi Barb, This new seminar on “Flow” sounds so interesting. How generous of you to do this for us!!! Thank you. I’ll spread the word. 🙂
I’m in the process of getting my talented cowhorse and me back in shape to show again after a hip replacement. I still have to work, real estate in TX, to pay for this adventure and passion so planning and patience is necessary. Barb, you are on my calendar and I’m looking forward to being with you to get back in sync.
Thank you for your comments.
