So Thankful

I begin this month’s newsletter with two important “Thank Yous” for:

1. The great success of the Lloyd Cox and Boyd Rice benefit “Insights” Webinar for JB McLamb and Cyndy Dvorak. WOW … so many made a difference. And, it’s not over. If you choose to purchase the audios again, or for the first time, the money will keep going toward JB’s and Cyndy’s medical expenses.

2. Blessed rain in Texas. We are all so grateful. Here is a picture of Zane’s flower garden during a recent all day “soaker”. The baby fall flower plants were smiling!

And … DRUM ROLL … the winner of the 2011 Zane Schulte Award
is Mr. Dave McGregor from Vina, California. Dave, we thank you and congratulate you for all of your contributions to our sport.

There could be no better choice for the Zane Schulte than Dave McGregor! Dave is an icon of horsemanship and a truly wonderful human being. Anyone who ever had contact with him will have heartfelt stories to tell. A wonderful choice.

I have enjoyed your emails on the 12 Days of Christmas, but Day 5 really hits home! It describes my 15 yr old daughter, Alexa (you met her at Dan Hansens) and her horse, Jazz. He hears her the minute she gets out of the car at the barn and starts talking to her. She runs to embrace him like its the first time she has seen him in months! he gives her a friendship like no other…horses…they are such a part of who we are. Thanks for sharing your insights. You are always an inspiration. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
