Hi Barb, I was writing and it got sent before I was done so I will start over.
I am going to the Western Nationals next week. I am not ever uptight in the show pen with myself, but I am worried SICK about my mare. I have only had her about 3 months and she is very hot, or better has a very busy mind. She charges the cow, doesn't wait like she should, rings her tail, and gets long.
I have given her stuff to calm her down and it seems to help , But somtimes it gets her numb. When I bought her they said she needs 3 hours of looping, I hate to do that to her, can't be good for her legs.
I sent her to my trainer this week right before the show to see if he can figure her out for me. Tom was the judge at my show last month, he knows the horse.
Anyways if you have any suggestions I would appreiciate them. Cindy
