“What Does the Movie, ‘King’s Speech’ and Riding Your Horse Have in Common?”
Recently, I saw the movie, “King’s Speech”. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend that you do so.
You might be wondering, “How is this movie relevant to riding my horse?
Here’s what happened. “King’s Speech” inspired me. It embodied three powerful, timeless themes to help us keep thriving. They are:
- Go for your dreams
- Never give up
- Surround yourself with strong, supportive people.
Raley Mae Radomske
For a couple of months I wanted to write regarding the power of telling positive stories about future events in your life. This month I am compelled to share this strategy through the example of a real life story that has kept me glued to my emails. I have been inspired on a daily basis since August 1st. This story continues to unfold as you read this.
The tail is about hope, faith in God, and the ultimate “Never Give Up” attitude of Raley Mae Radomske. Her family shares her attitude and the events of their lives through her website:

Here’s a Little Humor to Get You Going!
When I just happened upon this Budweiser Clydesdale commercial in You Tube recently, I laughed out loud and felt inspired all at the same time.

The Clydesdale horses did bring back memories of my childhood. I grew up near St. Louis. My parents were friends with August A. Busch, owner of the St. Louis Cardinals, and of course, the horses. We used to visit Mr. Busch’s farm and he used to come to our ranch to buy horses from my father.
Molly Visits Us in Brenham, Texas
A few weeks ago, you may have met Molly, the pony from my email. Her story is truly moving.
If you are meeting her here for the first time, she survived Hurricane Katrina with the help of her owner, Kaye Harris. Now, seemingly miraculously, she wears a prosthesis on her right front leg. Watch a video about her fantastic story at
www.CBSnews.com. Search “Molly, the Pony.”
